Hopkins Corporation is a home building and remodeling company located in Dennis, MA on Cape Cod and is the product of 6 decades of Hopkins family involvement in the construction industry. Niall Hopkins has years of training and vast experience in home construction business that includes ten years specializing in home energy efficiency. Niall’s energy conservation knowledge is incorporated into all our home construction projects. This alone will help save on energy costs for our customers for decades.
Niall was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. He graduated from Catholic University School in 1988. Upon graduation he began his career in home building by enrolling in the carpenter joiner apprenticeship program at the FAS Tallaght Training Center and then at Whitechurch Joinery where he completed his apprenticeship.
Niall acquired advanced training in carpentry & joinery at City & Guilds, a global leader in skills development, and completed his formal training at Bolton Street College of Technology, which is now part of the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1992.
After completing his formal training, Niall continued to hone his skills by working in the Exhibition, TV & Movie industry as a lead carpenter until 1994 when he arrived in the United States and settled on Cape Cod.
Niall became a member of Local 33, United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners in Boston. He worked on the Ted Williams Tunnel Project for several years commuting daily from his home in Yarmouth. His reputation for dependability and quality workmanship put him in demand on the Cape and he soon became a sub-contractor on many high-profile projects including; Martha’s Vineyard Airport, Oak Bluffs Town Hall, and the Southport Senior Living Community in Mashpee just to name just a few. Nigel Hopkins has continued to build and remodel Cape Cod homes for the past 25 years. Niall is married and lives in Yarmouth with his wife and 3 children.
